Line of packing and packing of corn sticks (2)

Packaging corn sticks does not require special packaging materials, complex forms of packaging or complex models of packaging equipment. A budget option is quite suitable: a "pillow" package made of a single-layer polymer film, made on vertical packaging equipment. This is due to the fact that for corn sticks, the packaging performs an exclusively decorative role and the function of protection against moisture. It does not bear loads (sticks are very light) and cannot provide protection against mechanical influences due to its softness and fragility of the packaged product. In addition, the low cost of the product makes it pointless to use expensive materials or forms of packaging for its packaging.

Sticks can be packaged either automatically or semi-automatically. The manual method, that is. we will not consider the method in which the operator receives a dose of the product from the dispenser into a pre-made package, and then manually seals it. The reason is that it will be much more problematic (and ultimately more expensive) to make a "pillow" package by hand than to buy a semi-automatic packaging machine.

For semi-automatic packaging of chips, you need everything the same as for automatic packaging, except for the packaging machine. Instead of it, you can use a semi-automatic packing machine, which, although it requires the constant participation of the operator in its work, is many times cheaper than an automatic machine.

Such a filling semi-automatic machine can be a semi-automatic filling machine with a PAF-20-V weight dispenser, if, of course, it will be of increased size and equipped with a two-level dispenser (suborder is produced).

As in the case of automatic packaging, it is necessary to think about filling the hopper of the semi-automatic packaging machine (manually or purchase a loading conveyor) and provide for the removal of finished packages.

For automatic packaging of corn sticks, you need:

Actually, the corn sticks themselves. Polymer film in rolls. It is possible both with polygraphy and without it. In the presence of polygraphy, the drawing must be applied in such a way that its appearance does not change during the formation of the package (calculated for the dimensions of the package and the place where the seams are formed). The film can be of any type and any thickness, provided that its top layer is not polyethylene.

A packaging machine of increased sizes, which will simultaneously produce the formation of a package from a roll of film, will dispense a set dose of chips into such a package and seal (close) the package. Given that, as a rule, packing machines have a considerable height, it may make sense to equip the machine with a ZT-1 loading bucket conveyor (although no one excludes the possibility of manual loading).

Packaging machines that can cope with packaging chips in a "pillow" package are:

  1. Pneumatic filling machine with weighing dispenser AF-35-V (increased sizes with two-level dispenser)
  2. Pneumomechanical packaging machine with weight dispenser AF-50-V (increased two-level dispenser)

The difference between the proposed machines will be only in the type of packaging component. You can learn more about this by ordering a consultation from our specialist.

It is also desirable to provide for the possibility of removing ready-made packages from the machine. Otherwise, falling on the floor or on each other, they can damage the sticks packed in them. As an option, you can use the conveyor OT-1
