Demand for briquettes is growing, and therefore consumer-friendly packaging is needed. Such packaging should allow convenient transportation and storage of fuel bills. And if for Pini-Kay there is an additional screed that holds the block of briquettes together (Pini-Kay due to heat treatment has resistance to mechanical damage and high moisture resistance), then for other types you need something more reliably holding and moisture-proof. As a rule, polyethylene film is used (in everyday life - heat-shrinkable) polyethylene film, which is used to form packs of 4 or 8 briquettes.

Automatic devices or semi-automatic devices can be used for packing briquettes in film (a completely manual method is rarely used). As in any situation with automation, the automatic method of packaging is the most expensive, but efficient and fast, and the semi-automatic is cheaper, but requires constant participation and is less productive.

For semi-automatic packing of fuel briquettes, you will need the same as for automatic packing. The difference will be in the model of the heat shrink tunnel - it will not have an automatic welder. It can be a thermal tunnel or with a mechanical 1-roll or 2-roll welder. A manual welder is less efficient, it will be more difficult to form packs, which means the productivity will be lower.

For automatic packing of fuel briquettes, you need:

  • The fuel briquettes themselves. Preferably of the same shape and size.
  • Heat-shrinkable polyethylene film in rolls. Unfortunately, it is impossible to use other types of films, because in addition to being more expensive than polyethylene, they may not withstand the weight of the packed briquettes.
  • Thermal tunnel. At the same time, the thermal tunnel must have an automatic welder. Otherwise, no automatic packaging will work.
